The project is based on international cooperation of experts from the University of California, Berkeley, and Charles University in Prague. The project allows linking scientific research with university teaching, both at the doctoral as well as post-doctoral level. The main scientific objective is to address the serious and socially relevant issues in the field of mental health and its determinants, in the context of health care management and financing issues, public policy building and implementation processes.
